1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Velox service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our service.
Important: These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Velox. Please read them carefully.
2. Service Description
Velox provides a technology platform that connects users who need delivery services ("Senders") with independent contractors who provide delivery services ("Drivers"). Our platform includes:

3. User Accounts and Eligibility
Eligibility Requirements:

- •Drivers must possess valid licenses and insurance as required by law
Account Security:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Payment Terms and Escrow System
Escrow Protection:
Velox operates a secure escrow system to protect both Senders and Drivers. Payment is held in escrow until delivery is confirmed, ensuring fair and secure transactions.
How Escrow Works:
- 1. Sender places order and payment is held in escrow
- 2. Driver accepts delivery and picks up items
- 3. Real-time tracking provides delivery updates
- 4. Upon successful delivery confirmation, payment is released to Driver
- 5. In case of disputes, our team mediates and resolves issues
Fees and Charges:
- •Service fees are clearly displayed before order confirmation
- •Payment processing fees may apply for certain payment methods
- •Cancellation fees may apply as outlined in our cancellation policy
5. Prohibited Uses and Conduct
You agree not to use Velox for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our service. Prohibited activities include:

- • Hazardous or dangerous materials
- • Weapons or ammunition
- • Stolen or counterfeit goods
- • Items requiring special permits
Prohibited Conduct:

- • Interference with platform operations
- • Circumventing security measures
6. Limitation of Liability
Velox acts as an intermediary platform connecting Senders and Drivers. While we strive to provide a safe and reliable service, we cannot guarantee the actions of platform users.
Our Responsibilities:
- • Maintain platform security and functionality
- • Verify Driver credentials and background checks
- • Provide customer support and dispute resolution
- • Protect user data and privacy
- • Facilitate secure escrow transactions
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velox's total liability for any claims arising from your use of our service shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you to Velox in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Dispute Resolution
Resolution Process:
- 1Direct Communication: We encourage users to first attempt to resolve disputes directly through our in-app messaging system.
- 2Mediation: If direct resolution fails, our customer support team will mediate the dispute and work toward a fair solution.
- 3Arbitration: For disputes that cannot be resolved through mediation, binding arbitration may be required as outlined in applicable law.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside (Canada or United Kingdom), without regard to conflict of law principles.
For Canadian Users:
Governed by Canadian federal and provincial laws. Disputes subject to Canadian court jurisdiction.
For UK Users:
Governed by UK law. Disputes subject to the jurisdiction of UK courts.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or business practices. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
Your continued use of Velox after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
